Project includes but is not limited to the following:  New construction of a 10,722 SF pre-engineered metal building; concrete foundation, Unit masonry and simulated stone masonry, millwork, door, frames & hardware, storefronts and entrances; gypsum board assemblies; tile and flooring; sport vinyl flooring; acoustical ceilings; wall covering and painting; signage, toilet partitions and accessories; operable partitions; projection screens; volleyball system, athletic equipment and scoreboard; fire sprinkler system; plumbing; HVAC; electrical; fire alarm system; and site work / improvements.

 The work of this project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following:  Existing Site Conditions: Approximately 6.8 acres in the Tio and Janell Kleber Wildlife Research Park on the Texas A&M University - Kingsville campus.  The site is underdeveloped; per the construction documents, the site must be carefully modified as to not disturb the natural vegetation unless directed to do so.  Existing Site Restrictions: The site is behind secured gates and adjacent to University buildings which will remain in operation.  All access and utility work must be coordinated with the University.  New Construction: Primary facility is a 6,750 SF Research Building with research labs, a surgery room and exam room suite, and staff spaces.  The research building will be constructed using ICF construction and steel structure on slab on grade foundation.  The enclosures building is an open-air, CMU structure with a footprint of 19,205 SF.  The enclosures building will include fenced enclosures for the animals.  The Re-Wilding Pens consist of approximately 1-acre foot print with a small shade structure.  Phasing: The project shall be performed in one phase of construction.  FFE: Furniture, Fixture and Equipment items shall be procured and install by the contractor are noted in the Construction Documents.

Interior Renovations to the CC Cathedral

New construction of a multi-purpose building along with quest quarters, sitework and utilities.  Project to include but is not limited to the following.  Stucco, stone, brick, clay tile roofing, metal roofing, membrane roofing, exterior wood trim, cornice work and exposed framing, air and water resistive barrier, insulation, flashing & trim, doors & windows, glazing, shower doors, gypsum board assemblies, stone and tile, concrete floors, vinyl plank flooring, millwork, decorative ceilings, wood trim & profiles, plaster trim & profiles, bath accessories and all associated MEP

Construction of a monument located on the southwest corner of the park.  A U.S. Army Bell Huey Helicopter  will rest on a 15'-0" high steel pedestal.  Two 26'-0" long concrete walls will frame the base of the helicopter with the name of the park on each wall and back lit with LED lighting.  Within the two concrete walls, tall grass will be planted below the helicopter and this area will have plenty of lighting to highlight the helicopter in the evenings.  Visitors will be able to walk around the helicopter on a new 8,200 SF path consisting of colored concrete pavers.  New soc and new irrigation will surround the memorial.
